1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mixscan.me ("the Service"), operated by 2CME UI Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service. 2CME UI Inc. reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, and such changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

2. Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian permission to use this service. By using this service, you confirm that you meet these age requirements.

3. Description of Service

Mixscan.me is a platform that helps you easily generate and share personalized playlists and, if you choose, connects them to your YouTube account via YouTube API Services to help you discover and share music that reflects your unique sonic identity. The Service is provided "as is," and 2CME UI Inc. does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or suitability of the playlists generated.

4. AI and Automated Systems

All characters on this platform (including DJ Scanalog and DJ ScratchTracks) are artificial intelligence systems. They are not human beings. All interactions are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or any other type of professional advice.

We use the following AI providers to power our characters:

  • Anthropic, PBC – PRIMARY AI provider
  • OpenAI – FALLBACK AI provider
  • Google (Gemini) – FALLBACK AI provider

In compliance with California SB 243 and similar laws, we disclose that our AI characters are automated systems. Conversations with these characters do not constitute therapy, counseling, or professional advice of any kind.

5. AI Companion Chatbot Notice

In compliance with California SB 243 (Chatbot Safety for Minors) and similar statutes, we disclose the following:

  • Our AI characters are automated software, not human beings.
  • Interactions are for entertainment only and cannot replace human relationships or professional mental health care.
  • We encourage users to take regular breaks from AI companion interactions and to maintain real-world human connections.
  • If you feel you are becoming overly dependent on AI companionship, please speak with a trusted human friend, family member, or mental health professional.

6. Health and Crisis Disclaimer

This platform is not a crisis service and our AI characters are not crisis counselors. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact:

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Mixscan.me in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as the terms and community guidelines of YouTube, as we operate in connection with their platform. Specifically, you must not:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Violate YouTube's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, duplicate, or exploit any part of Mixscan.me's AI or systems, including maliciously exploiting bugs.

8. Intellectual Property

Mixscan.me does not claim ownership over any third-party content, including but not limited to music, artwork, and videos. All such content remains the property of its respective copyright owners and is subject to their rights and licenses.

Any playlists, mixtapes, or other compilations you create using Mixscan.me are for personal use only and do not transfer or grant you any ownership rights over the underlying works. 2CME UI Inc. may use anonymized, non-personal data generated through your use of the Service to improve our platform and features, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Mixscan.me is provided on an "as-is" and "as available" basis. We strive to provide a seamless experience, but we are not liable for:

  • Lost or deleted playlists.
  • Issues related to disconnected YouTube accounts.
  • Any dissatisfaction or emotional distress caused by AI-generated song selections.

10. Limitation of Liability

2CME UI Inc. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

5. Termination

2CME UI Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, particularly if you misuse the Service or violate these Terms. If you believe your account was terminated in error, please contact us at privacy@2-c.me.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
